NAME
       empclrlk - reset EMPRESS locking

SYNOPSIS
       empclrlk [-f] [-4gl | -ag] database [application ...]

DESCRIPTION
       This  command  resets  the locking mechanism in an EMPRESS database and
       removes all non-active locks.

       -f        Force to clear all locks including all active locks. Use this
                 option with caution.

       -4gl      Reset the locking mechanism for 4GL applications.

       -ag       Reset  the  locking  mechanism  for 4GL Application Generator
                 definitions  and  empty  the  Application  Generator   system
                 tables.

DIAGNOSTICS
