NAME
       empisocv  - converts between EMPRESS internal Latin 1 ISO character set
       and the user's chosen 8-bit code set using standard input and  standard
       output.

SYNOPSIS
       empisocv [-ft] < infile > outfile

DESCRIPTION
       This  command allows conversion of a file to/from the Latin 1 ISO char-
       acter set from/to the user's  codeset  reflected  in  the  MSNLSCODESET
       EMPRESS  environment  variable.   The conversion is done using standard
       input and standard output.

       -f        Converts the standard input  (assumed  to  be  using  EMPRESS
                 internal Latin 1 ISO character set).  The output is generated
                 to standard output.

       -t        Converts the standard input to use EMPRESS internal  Latin  1
                 ISO  character set.  The output is generated to standard out-
                 put.
