NAME
       empress - provides access to all Empress modules

SYNOPSIS
       empress


DESCRIPTION
       Empress-in-one is a Program Manager environment designed to allow users
       to access all Empress modules from a single window.  It is working as a
       Netscape  plugin,  you  simply  type "empress" to invoke Empress-in-one
       (assuming $EMPRESSPATH/bin is in your PATH). Empress-in-one's home page
       will appear on the Netscape browser.

       Empress modules are divided into four categories: Interactive, Program-
       ming, Connectivity, and Administrative. Click on any of the modules  to
       bring  up  a  description  window   of the module. If you would like to
       invoke that particular module, click the Invoke button in the  descrip-
       tion window or click the Cancel button to go back to the main window.

       The  Empress  logo  button,  when clicked, provides general information
       about Empress Software Inc. and how to get in touch with Empress.

       WARNING: The Empress utility on UNIX platform requires  X window  envi-
       ronment.  Please  make  sure  you are running X windows before starting
       Empress utility on UNIX platform.


Diagnostics
       Error diagnostics are printed if the usage is incorrect.
