NAME
       empsql - invoke the EMPRESS Query Language in interactive mode

SYNOPSIS
       empsql database

DESCRIPTION
       This  command invokes the EMPRESS relational database management system
       Query Language with the specified database  as  the  default  database.
       The  database  specified  must  have  been  created  using  empmkdb  or
       emp4init.  If the database does not exist, EMPRESS  is  run  without  a
       current default database.

DIAGNOSTICS
       Error  diagnostics  are  printed  if no database is specified or if the
       database is not in the EMPRESS format.
