NAME
       empwarm - warm restart EMPRESS databases

SYNOPSIS
       empwarm [-pv] database

DESCRIPTION
       This  is the warm restart utility for EMPRESS databases.  It can be run
       on any database that was affected by any form of  system  failure,  and
       will  resolve  all  transactions  that  were in progress at the time of
       interruption.

       -p        Overrides  transaction  protection.   Protected  transactions
                 will be resolved.

       -v        Runs  the warm restart in verbose mode.  Detailed status mes-
                 sages are printed.

DIAGNOSTICS
       Error diagnostics are printed if no database is  specified  or  if  the
       database is not in the EMPRESS format.
